Insurance Plans We Accept

Texas Capital Dental is in-network with a wide range of insurance carriers and accepts most PPO plans as an out-of-network provider when in-network coverage isn't available. Here's what we currently accept:

  • Most PPO Insurance Plans — call us to verify your specific plan
  • Medicaid & CHIP — children's coverage only (ages 0–20)
  • Delta Dental
  • Cigna
  • MetLife

Payment Options

  • Cash
  • Personal check
  • All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • CareCredit — healthcare financing with deferred-interest options

Medicaid & CHIP (Children)

We proudly accept Texas Medicaid and CHIP for children ages 0–20. These programs cover a wide range of preventive and restorative dental services for eligible children, including cleanings, exams, X-rays, fillings, and extractions. Please note that we do not accept adult Medicaid. If you're unsure whether your child qualifies, call our office and we'll help confirm coverage before the appointment.

No Insurance? That's Okay.

A significant number of our patients come to us without dental insurance. We provide straightforward estimates for all planned treatment and work with patients to prioritize what's most needed. We'll never recommend unnecessary work, and we'll always discuss the cost before proceeding with anything.

CareCredit financing is available for patients who want to spread the cost of treatment over time. Applications can be completed quickly at our front desk or online.

Verifying Your Benefits

Our team can contact your insurance carrier before your appointment to verify coverage and give you an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs. We encourage new patients to call us at least a few days before their first visit so we have time to complete this check. This helps avoid surprises at checkout.

Billing Questions

If you have questions about a bill, a claim that was denied, or your benefits generally, our front desk team is here to help. We'll work with your insurance company on your behalf when issues arise.
