Background & Education
Dr. Stacy Sheinbein-Garner grew up in Plano, Texas and went on to earn her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin — a proud Longhorn through and through. She then attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class in 2006.
That academic achievement earned her induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the national dental honor society and one of the most prestigious recognitions in the profession. Membership is reserved for the top graduates who demonstrate not only academic excellence but also character and professional promise.
Life in Austin & Co-Founding Texas Capital Dental
After completing her degree, Dr. Sheinbein-Garner returned to Austin — a city she'd fallen in love with during her undergraduate years. Together with Dr. Keri Zayed, she co-founded Texas Capital Dental in December 2011, opening a practice rooted in a shared philosophy: that every patient deserves attentive, high-quality care in an environment where they feel genuinely welcome.
More than a decade later, that founding principle still guides every patient interaction at the office on East Braker Lane in North Austin.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Sheinbein-Garner believes that dentistry is most effective when built on trust. She takes time to listen to patient concerns, explain treatment options in plain language, and involve patients in decisions about their care. She is known for her gentle touch and calm chairside manner — qualities her patients have highlighted in reviews over the years.
Her clinical focus includes preventive care, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic procedures. She stays current with advances in the field through continuing education and active membership in professional associations.

Outside the Office
