Dr. Keri Zayed, DDS

Background & Education

Dr. Keri Zayed grew up in Belton, Texas and went on to study Biology at Texas A&M University. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas in 2003, launching a career in dentistry that has now spanned more than two decades.

Dr. Zayed brings fluency in Arabic and conversational Spanish to her practice, allowing her to connect with a broader range of patients in the diverse North Austin community. Se habla español.

Career in Austin & Co-Founding Texas Capital Dental

After graduating from Baylor, Dr. Zayed settled in Austin and began building relationships with patients across the city. In December 2011, she and Dr. Stacy Sheinbein-Garner co-founded Texas Capital Dental on East Braker Lane — a practice designed from the ground up to feel welcoming, unhurried, and honest.

Over the years, Dr. Zayed has earned a reputation for building lasting patient relationships. Several of her patients have been coming to see her for over a decade — a fact she considers one of her greatest professional honors.

Dr. Zayed's approach centers on open communication and patient comfort. She takes time to explain diagnoses and treatment options thoroughly, making sure each patient understands their choices before any work begins. Her patients frequently describe her as gentle, honest, and thorough.

She is committed to staying at the forefront of dental medicine through ongoing continuing education, ensuring that the treatments she provides reflect the latest evidence-based practices.
